The practicing degree of early grades supervisors' in Jerash Governorate schools for electronic supervision in light of reading and mathematics initiative from as perceived by school principals and early grades teachers
Abstract
The study aimed at revealing the practicing degree of early grades supervisors' in Jerash Governorate schools for electronic supervision in light of reading and mathematics initiative from as perceived by school principals and early grades teachers, to achieve the aim of the study, the descriptive correlational method was followed by using electronic supervision questionnaire consisted of (25) items. The sample of study consisted of (325) principals and early grades teachers. The researchers used electronic questionnaire distributed randomly on the sample from the schools of education in Jerash governorate. The results of the study revealed that the degree of practicing the electronic supervision among the early grades supervisors in the light of reading and mathematics initiative in Jerash governorate as perceived by principals and early grades teachers was moderate, and there were significant differences at (α = 0.05) in principals’ and early grades teachers’ estimation due to the variable of years of experience in the favor of less than 10 years, and there were no significant differences in their estimation due to the variables of gender, the job title, and the years of experience. Finally, the researchers recommended several recommendations, including holding training courses for educational supervisors dealing with the concepts of electronic supervision, and educating teachers about the methods of attracting parents to volunteer in the parent participation program.
