Jordan Journal of Applied Science-humanities science series (JJOAS-H) is an open-access journal. It was established in 1999 by Applied Science Private University (founder and owner); which owns the copyright and licensing for all issues and articles in the journal. The journal’s editorial board, which consists of well-renowned scientists in their fields, is responsible for managing the general direction of the journal.
JJOAS-H is a refereed and approved journal for promotion purposes by the University of Jordan and is considered one of the third-category journals. It is classified and indexed under category (Q3) in the Arab Citation & Impact Factor (Arcif). It is worth noting that all DOIs for issues and articles in the journal are deposited and registered with Crossref. In addition, JJOAS-H has been indexed in the International Scientific Indexing (ISI) database, which Provides access to all open-access scientific journals that use an appropriate quality system. The JJOAS-H index in this database aimed to increase the clarity and visibility of the use of research and thus increase its uses. The Impact Factor of JJAOS-H for the year (2023-2024) is 3.246, based on the International Citation Report (ICR).
Recently, the Jordan Journal of Applied Science-Humanities (JJOAS-H) has been indexed in the Dar Al-Mandumah database. Dar Al-Mandumah is a Saudi company system, specializing in building and developing scientific information bases specialized in research and academics. JJOAS-H has also been accredited in the database for the Association of Arab Universities. which provides access to all open-access scientific and scholarly journals that use an appropriate quality control system.
JJOAS-H is publishing different types of articles in Arabic and English, including original research articles, case reports, and review articles across all areas of humanities science. JJOAS-H is distinguished by quick and precise evaluation/ double-blinded peer reviews. The whole process usually takes 60-90 days and is issued quarterly. The manuscript’s acceptance fee for publication is $200, which must be paid after completing the evaluation procedures and preliminary acceptance to proceed with the final acceptance of the manuscripts.
