The research adopted the descriptive analytical approach, and data were collected from the annual reports of the target companies during the period between (2015-2019). As time series for the purpose of finding, analyzing, and measuring the effect of study variables during this period. A sample of (45) companies for variables were collected, E-views 9 was used to analyze the collected data.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p>The results of the study proved that there is no effect of accounting conservatism in the financial reports issued by investment companies listed at Palestine Stock Exchange. The study sample consisted of (44) principals from among the principals of public schools in the Bain Obaid District of Irbid Governorate, and they were chosen by a simple random method. The study used the descriptive survey method, and the questionnaire was a tool for data collection and analysis, and the results showed an average reality of artificial intelligence employment in the educational process from the point of view of the principals of public schools in the Bani Obaid district, Paragraph No. (7), which states, “The Ministry provides smart databases for use in decision-making” came in the first place, with an average of (3.79), and Paragraph No. (9) and its text “allow teachers to interact in the course, immerse themselves, control and navigate within it using the Virtual Reality Technologies" ranked last, with a mean of (2.44). and showed that there are no statistically significant differences in the reality of artificial intelligence employment in the educational process from the point of view of the principals of public schools in the Bani Obaid District is attributed to the gender of the principal. The study population consisted of (752) teachers, and the study sample consisted of (152) teachers who study vocational education in Irbid Governorate schools in Jordan. To achieve the study goals, the descriptive approach, and a questionnaire consisting of (32) items divided into four domains: (cognitive, skill, emotional, and educational environment) domains were used. The results showed that the role of the vocational education teacher in instilling the concept of vocational education among students was (moderate), where the skill domain ranked first, with (high) level, while the cognitive domain came in the ranked last with (low) level. The results showed a significant difference in the role of teachers in instilling the concept of vocational education among students due to educational qualification variable, in favor of the campaign (higher education, bachelor), and years of experience variable, in favor of the category (more than 10 years), while no differences appeared due to the gender variable. According to these finding, the researcher recommends that teachers should pay attention to instilling the concept of vocational education among students, in a balanced manner, in all skill, cognitive, emotional, and educational environment fields, in addition to adopting standardized tests for detecting students’ professional tendencies as a main source for distributing students in vocational education paths.</p> <p><strong>Keywords</strong>: Vocational Education, Vocational Education Teacher, Irbid Governorate Schools, Jordan.</p> Qaseem Hamadaneh Copyright (c) 2024 Applied Scince Private University 2024-01-01 2024-01-01 38 2 32 49 10.35192/jjoas-h.v38i2.681 The Level of Entrepreneurship among Arabic Schools’ Principals in the Green Line as Perceived by Teachers http://jjoas.asu.edu.jo/index.php/jjoas-h/article/view/686 <p>This study aimed to investigate the level of entrepreneurship among Arabic schools’ principals in the green line as perceived by teachers. The sample of the study consisted of (284) male and female teachers selected through random sampling. To achieve this aim, the study adopted the descriptive survey approach, as a questionnaire with (39) items was developed. The findings of the study showed that the level of entrepreneurship among Arabic schools’ principals is a big degree. Moreover, there were no significant statistical differences at the level of (α =0.05) between the means of teachers’ evaluations for the level of entrepreneurship among Arabic schools’ principals attributed to (gender, scientific qualification, and years of experience) variables. The study sample consisted of (175) school principals. To achieve the study objectives, The study used descriptive approach. &nbsp;a questionnaire was used, and its validity and reliability were verified. The results revealed that the level of the degree of implementing &nbsp;the developmental plan in improving the educational outcomes from school principals' perceptions was moderate; there was statistically significant difference in the degree of implementing he developmental plan in improving the educational outcomes from school principals' perceptions in light of experience, in favor of the experience more than 15 years, while no statistically significant differences in the degree of implementing the developmental plan in improving the educational outcomes from school principals' perceptions were found due to gender and qualification. The descriptive methodology was employed and a 4-dimension questionnaire composed of (37) items was administered to a sample of (350) academic staff in the first semester of 2021-2022. The four dimensions are: the personal characteristics, relationship with followers, sense of responsibility and decision making. The findings revealed that the degree of practice was “mild”. The findings did not reveal statistically significant differences that could be attributed to the type of faculty. By contrast, statistically significant differences that could be attributed to type of university in favor of private universities, and rank in favor of deans as far as relationships with followers and decision making are concerned, existed. To achieve the study objectives descriptive survey method was used, the study population consisted of all teachers and school principals working in the Directorates of Education in Irbid Governorate, the study sample consisted of (265) male and female teachers and (114) male and female principals at Irbid Governorate schools. The study tool is represented by a questionnaire consisting of (21) items. The results of the study revealed that&nbsp; the role of the school principals in activating the use of information technology at schools of Irbid Governorate was average with an mean of (3.21), the results also indicated that there were statistically significant differences in the degree estimation of the study sample due to the job title variable in favor of principals, the results showed that there are no statistical differences due to the gender variable and the academic qualification variable and the years of experience variable, The study recommended holding training courses for school administrators to clarify their roles in activating information technology in schools and enhancing the importance of modern technology, and paying attention to the employment of information technology, especially with regard to the two areas: curriculum affairs and education and teachers affairs, as it is necessary to keep pace with digital transformation and technological development in these two areas.</p> <p><strong>Keywords</strong>: the school administration, activating use, information technology, Irbid schools.</p> Duaa Turki Ahmad Khatatbah Prof. Mohammad Ali Ashour Copyright (c) 2024 Applied Scince Private University 2024-01-01 2024-01-01 38 2 10.35192/jjoas-h.v38i2.718 The Degree of Prevalence of Toxic Leadership Practices at Public Schools in Irbid Governorate and it's Relation with Effectiveness of Administrative Control as Perceived by Principals and Teachers http://jjoas.asu.edu.jo/index.php/jjoas-h/article/view/723 <p>The study aimed to reveal the degree of prevalence of toxic leadership practices at public schools in Irbid governorate and its relation with effectiveness of administrative control as perceived by principals, and teachers. The researchers used the descriptive correlative survey method, and the study population consisted of all principals, and teachers of public schools in Irbid Governorate, which numbered (713) principals and (17220) teachers. The study sample consisted of (248) principals and (377) teachers, and the study sample was chosen by simple random method from the study population. The researchers developed a tool consisting of (25) items to measure the degree of prevalence of toxic driving practices; and another tool consisting of (24) items to measure the degree of effectiveness of administrative control, and their validity and reliability were verified. The study findings revealed that the degree of prevalence of toxic leadership practices was medium, and in the following descending order: narcissism, unreliability, authoritarian leadership, self-infatuation, and bad supervision. By contrast, the degree of the effectiveness of administrative control was high. This study uses the questionnaire tool which is based on relevant searches focusing on five essential aspects: - (school Vision, school mission, strategic objectives, analyzing the internal environment and external environment of the school). The study body consisted of 184 principals; males and females, intentionally selected, and it was a presented to specialists in the validity of the internal consistency. The results came out as the following: the degree to which government school principals use a strategic planning for reducing educational waste in the governorate of the capital city of Amman reached the total of 4.23.
