AlkhashaliDrshaker55@yahoo.com<p>The study aims to identify the impact of corporate governance on the organizational citizenship behavior of Jordanian insurance companies. The study was based on five institutional governance dimensions, which they are: Disclosure, Justice, Responsibility, Independence and Accountability. Along with five organizational citizenship behavior dimensions: Altruism, Courtesy, Sportsmanship, Conscientious and Civic virtue.</p> <p>The study population reached (403) managers in the upper and middle administrative positions in the Jordanian insurance companies. A random stratified sample method was adopted for the purposes of representing the study population. (191) were distributed and (156) questionnaires were retrieved. The researchers also used a number of statistical methods to analyze the study data, the most important of which are simple and multiple regression coefficient. The study has reached many results, the most important of which are the high levels of institutional governance dimensions, namely disclosure, independence, accountability, medium dimensions of justice and responsibility, and high levels of all dimensions of organizational citizenship behavior.</p> <p>The results of the study showed that there is no statistically significant impact of institutional governance on organizational citizenship behavior.</p> <p>Based on the results, the researcher suggested a set of recommendations that will hopefully help Jordanian insurance companies in raising the levels of institutional governance, the most important of which is the need for the Jordanian insurance companies' departments to deepen their understanding about the concept of corporate governance among all employees regardless of their administrative levels.</p> <p><strong>Keywords: </strong>Corporate Governance, Organizational Citizenship Behavior, Insurance Companies, Jordan.</p> <p> </p>2022-01-01T00:00:00+02:00Copyright (c) 2022 Applied Scince Private Universityhttp://jjoas.asu.edu.jo/index.php/jjoas-h/article/view/177Continuation and interruption in the maps of alliances and regional conflicts in the Arab world: The Arab Cooperation Council and the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf a comparative study 2023-11-13T08:17:46+02:00Basmah Tombasma_tom@yahoo.com<p>The study aims to compare the elements of development and completion between the Arab Cooperation Council and the Gulf Cooperation Council, and study the case of Arab integration as a way to a new human renaissance in the Arab region. The study is based on a major hypothesis that: "There is a correlation between reviving the Arab integration project in light of the current regional and international changes, and finding the Arab region its way out from the crisis, and its achievement of a comprehensive human renaissance ". To achieve the aim of the study, the researchers followed the descriptive approach using content analysis method of all theses and dissertations in learning and teaching Arabic language were analyzed that approved by Umm Al-Qura University from (1976-2019), totaling (231) theses and dissertations. The results of frequencies and percentages several objective trends in the curriculum, the learner, the teacher, and the branches of language and its skills. The participants of the study were (60) males from tenth grade students from a public school in Irbid. The study used quasi-experimental design for equivalent two groups which included an experimental group (30), and control group (30). The program was used to teach the experimental group. Then, pre –post test was used to measure the six skills of literary texts analysis. The results of the study showed that there were statistically significant differences attributed to the computerized educational program. The result showed that the role of sport in inquiry community peace was high, where the dimension of social justice was in the first rank, followed by the dimension of plurality, then the dimension of collection work, while the dimension of freedom of expression was in the fourth rank, the dimension of good governance was in the fifth rank and final there was the dimension of respecting law. The study sample consists of (49) female students. one tool for collecting data were developed, environmental concepts test. In its five dimensions (semantics, discovering of the scientific concept, interpreting of observations, using the concept in solving problems, using the concept in inference and generalization). The findings showed that there were statistically significant differences between the two averages of posttest on the acquisition of environmental concepts test in its five dimensions ؛ in favor of students of the experimental group compared to the control group students. The study sample consisted of (520); 136 school principals and 384 of teachers were randomly selected. To achieve the study goals, two tools were designed. The first tool was a questionnaire to measure the degree of administrative communication practice and consisted of (33) paragraphs. The second tool was a questionnaire to measure the level of professional performance and consisted of (42) paragraphs. The study used the correlational survey descriptive approach. The results showed that the degree of practicing administrative communication was (<em>high</em>). Also, the results indicated that the level of the professional performance was (<em>high</em>) too. The number of females was (102) students, while the number of males reached (94) students. The researchers developed and applied the social responsibility scale in its three patterns (self, family and social) after verifying its validity and reliability. The results of the study indicated that the degree of prevalence of social responsibility patterns among gifted students was high and arranged in descending order, the family responsibility pattern came in the first order with a high degree, followed by the social responsibility pattern with a high degree, then self-responsibility pattern in the last order, with a high degree, and the average of the social responsibility scale as a whole was with a high degree. The results of the study also showed that the differences between the answers of the study sample individuals with regard to the grade variable were not statistically significant in both family and self-patterns. Whereas, there were statistically significant differences in the “social responsibility” pattern, and the differences were in favor of the “tenth grade” group. The results also showed that the differences between the responses of the study sample members with regard to the " gender" variable were not statistically significant in the" family responsibility" pattern, while there were statistically significant differences in the "social responsibility " pattern and the "self-responsibility" pattern in favor of male category. The sample of the study consisted of (186) teachers in the Directorate of Education of the District of the Koura, in the first semester of the academic year 2019/2020. To achieve the objectives of the study, the scale of the principles of brain-based learning prepared by the researchers was used, which consisted of (30) paragraphs divided into six principles/fields. The results also showed that the degree of employment of Arabic language teachers in Jordan the principles of brain-based learning was moderate, and there were no significant differences in the degree to which Arabic language teachers in Jordan employed brain-based learning principles due to the variables of qualification and years of experience.
