The Possibility of Applying School Principals at Irbid Governorate for Kaizen Strategy

Abstract

The study aimed at identifying the possibility of applying school principals at Irbid governorate for Kaizen Strategy. To achieve the study objectives, descriptive survey method was used. The study community consists of all the approximately (24.432) teachers in Irbid province and (4.356) principals. The sample of the study consisted of (317) teachers and (62) principals at Irbid Governorate schools. They were chosen in a simple random way. The study tool is represented by a questionnaire consisting of (20) items distributed in three areas as follows: The first area is the general requirements of the Kaizen strategy, the second area is the requirements for applying the Kaizen strategy, the third area is the requirements of evaluating the Kaizen strategy. The results of the study found that the possibility of applying school principals at Irbid governorate for Kaizen Strategy in general was average with a mean of (3.36) The order of the areas was as follows: The first area is a general requirement for The Kaizen Strategy, which came in third and final place with a mean of( 3.29), The second area is the requirements for applying the Kaizen strategy, which came in first place with the highest average calculation of (3.50), The third area, the requirements for evaluating the Kaizen strategy, came in second place with a mean of (3.30). The results also revealed that there were statistically significant differences due to job title variable of with the statistical in favor of principals. Besides, the results show that there are no differences due to gender variable, and the academic qualification variable in favor of all fields, and years of experience variable.
