The Role of Administration in Enhancing Community Partnership in Arab Schools in Beersheba Region

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to reveal the role of administration in enhancing community partnership in Arab schools in Beersheba region from school principals point of view. A descriptive survey approach was used to target principals. The study sample intentionally consisted of all school principals in the region who were (100) principals from both genders. To collect data, a questionnaire consisted of (33) items was developed. Three independent variables were further investigated, namely: the school location, principal's gender, and principal's years of experience in the post. The results showed that overall principals' estimate of the role of administration in enhancing community partnership in targeted schools was (moderate). Furthermore, the results indicated that there were significant statistical differences at (α=0.05) between the statistical means of principals' estimates related to school location. These differences were in favor of recognized schools. However, the results did not find any significant statistical differences at (α=0.05) between the means of responses related to principals' gender or their years of experience in their posts.
