Role of Material in the extent of Satisfaction of Football Referees in Jordan

Abstract

This study aimed to identify the role of material reward and the satisfaction of football referees in the Jordanian Federation and identifying the differences in the level of the financial reward and the satisfaction of the football referees in the Jordanian Federation from their point of view. The researchers used the descriptive approach to suit the nature of the study's questions. The number of referees in the Jordanian Federation reached (260) referees. The study sample consisted of (71) referees who were chosen in a purposive sample method representing (28%) of the size of the study population. The researchers used the questionnaire as a tool for collecting information and data, after collecting data, it was analyzed by the Statistical Packages for Social Sciences (SPSS) The results of the present study showed that there are no significant differences due to the following variables (scientific qualification, degree of referee, referee classification, referee experience). The researchers recommends that the results of the present study should be adopted and used by the authorities concerned to promote and develop the status quo.
