The Servant Leadership of Public-School Principals in Jerash Governorate from the Teachers' Perspective

Abstract

The aim of this study was to identify the degree of Servant Leadership of Public-School Principals in Jerash Governorate from the Teachers' Perspective, and know the impact of variables (gender, academic qualification, and years of experience) in that degree. The study sample consisted of (421) teachers, they were chosen by simple random method. A descriptive survey approach was used. To accomplish the objectives of the study, a questionnaire was built, which consisted of (34) items divided into four fields. The results revealed that the degree of Servant Leadership of Public-School Principals in Jerash Governorate from the Teachers' Perspective, was (high), The results, further, indicated that there were no significant statistical differences at (α = 0.05) in teachers' estimates of the degree of Servant Leadership practice by their principals due to (gender, academic qualification, years of experience) variables.
