Unique Choices by the Jordanian Marital Status Law No. 36 of 2010 Different from the Four Fiqh Schools in Divorce
Abstract
The present study explores some matters in the Divorce Section of the Jordanian Marital Status Law no. 36 of 2010, in which legislative choices were made in disparity with those made by mainstream scholars in the four Fiqh schools. The purpose of the Jordanian legislator is investigated by means of reviewing the Divorce Section. It is found that only three such cases, which actually have a notable perspective.
