The effect of using snowball strategy on the reading speed among the third grade students in Mafraq Directorate

Abstract

This study aimed to investigate the effect of using snowball strategy on the reading speed of third grade students in Mafraq Directorate. The researcher used the quasi-experimental method. The study was applied to a sample of (34) students from third grade students from two schools chosen purposely. the experimental group that included (18) students. and the control group that included (16) students., the results showed an effect of using the snowball strategy On the rapid reading skills combined and on the same skills individually, the impact size ranged (16.3-33.5%).
