The Training Needs of the Private School Principals in Al-Jamea District in Amman within the Light of the Arab Organization for Quality Assurance in Education Standards

Abstract

The study aimed to determine the training needs of the private school principals in Al-Jamea District in Amman within the light of  the Arab Organization for Quality Assurance in Education standards from the perspective of principals themselves ,and to find out whether there are significant statistical differences at the level of statistical significance (α = 0.05) in the estimations of these principals for their training needs due to variables (gender, educational qualification and years of experience).The sample of the study consisted of (138) principals. The descriptive survey approach was used, the researchers developed a questionnaire consisted of (60) items to collect the necessary data for achieving the aims of the study. The results of the study indicated that the estimations of principals for their training needs were moderate in all domains of the study, and there weren't any significant statistical differences in the estimations of principals for their training needs due to the variables of the study (gender, educational qualification and years of experience).
