The Effectiveness of an Educational Program Based on TRIZ Theory in Developing Achievement and Attitudes towards Mathematics among Ninth Grade Female Students in Jordan

Abstract

This study aims at investigating the effectiveness of an educational program based on TRIZ theory in developing achievement and attitudes towards mathematics among ninth grade female in Jordan. The study implemented the quasi-experimental approach. Participants in the study included (52) female students who were studying at a public school in Jordan. A purposeful sample were selected and randomly distributed into two groups: one experimental with (25) female students who studied using the educational program based on TRIZ theory, and one control group with (26) female students who studied using the traditional method. To achieve the objectives of the study an achievement test was prepared and an Abuzaina & AlKelani attitude scale was used to measure students.
