The administrative problems that face the educational counselors in public schools in the North Ghour from their point of view

Abstract

This Study aimed to recognize the administrative problems that face the educational counselors in public schools in the North Ghour Directorate of education from their point of view. The population of study was consisted of (42) counselors in the year of 2019/2020.The questionnaire was used as a tool for data collection .The results of the study showed that the problems which face the educational counselors in the public schools in the north doctorate of education were moderate and there was no differences  at the level of significance (α (0,05 ≥  according to the estimation of the study's sample to the administrative problems that face the  educational counselors in public schools which was due to gender variables in all aspects, except the ones that are related to school administration. These differences were in favor of males, the variable of years of experiences, qualifications in all fields. According to these results of this study, a set of recommendations have been revealed. Such as providing the latest scientific and instructional references for the educational counselors by the Directorate of the Ministry of Education, holding seminars for teachers that clarifies the role of the educational advisor and to convert students to educational counselors, finding a reference form. Increase the communication with students and increasing their self-confidence. Besides reducing the written tasks, which need much effort and time of the educational counselors, which make him unable to perform perfectly, and employing other counselors in schools that consist of more than three hundred students.
