Psychological immunity among the Students of Jordanian Universities in light of the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to investigate the level of psychological immunity, and the presence of statistically significant differences at the level of significance (α = 0.05) in the level of psychological immunity due to variables (gender, academic specialization, age) among the Students of Jordanian Universities in light of the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic. To achieve the aims of the study the researcher developed psychological immunity scale. The study sample consisted of (768) male and female students, they were chosen by the available method. The findings of the study showed a high level of psychological immunity, and that there were statistically significant differences in the sample averages according to the variables of the academic specialization  in  favor  of  the human specialization, while the findings of the study did not show statistically significant differences due to the variables of gender, age .
