The Level of Job Security of Public School Teachers in the Bani Obaid District

Abstract

This study aimed to identify the level of job security for public school teachers in Bani Obeid District from their point of view. The descriptive survey method was used for its relevance for the purposes of the study on a sample of (357) male and female teachers, who were chosen by the simple random method. To achieve the objectives of the study, a questionnaire was developed to measure the level of job security among teachers, and it consisted of (24) items. The results of the study showed that the level of job security for public school teachers in the Bani Obeid district was high. And it showed that there were no statistically significant differences at the significance level (α = 0.05) between the arithmetic mean of the estimates of government school teachers in the Bani Obaid District for the level of their job security due to the gender variable, and there were statistically significant differences due to the qualification variables. The scientific qualification of the bachelor’s holders, and for the variable years of experience in favor of less than 10 years.
