Abstract

This study aimed to Building an electronic educational program based on the Schuman investigative model in the developed Course of Geology and investigating its impact on developing critical thinking skills for 10th grade students in Jordan. The study sample consisted of (69) students from the tenth-grade students distributed at random into two divisions, one of the divisions was randomly chosen to represent the experimental group, which consisted of (33) students who studied using the electronic educational program based on the Schuman investigative model, and the second division was the control group. And it consisted of (36) students who studied in the usual way. The study tools consisted of an electronic educational program based on the Schuman investigative model designed by the researchers, and a test of developing critical thinking skills. The results of the study showed that there were statistically significant differences between the average performance of students in the experimental and control groups on the test of developing dimensional critical thinking skills in favor of the experimental group.
