The sample consisted of 358 female students aged 18-24 selected through random sampling; the descriptive method was used, and the Toronto measure of alexithymia developed by (Taylor, Rayan & Bagibi) was administrated as well as the measure of some factors of socialization upbringing by the researcher. Data were statistically treated with mean, standard deviations, relative weight, T test sample, Pearson correlation coefficient, linear regression analysis, and one-way analysis. The results showed high percentage of the presence of alexithymia in students and the high percentage of socializing factors and there is a correlation between two variables; and the predictability of socializing factors (parents-brothers-friends) combined as it contributes to the interpretation of (15.1) of the develop of alexithymia. The researcher recommends activating the role of specialists in psychological counseling in educational institutions; and conducting family guidance programs to raise awareness of the importance of support and social and psychological support. Further, the need to establish positive relations between brothers and activating social activities; and encouraging students to participate in them; and teach them the importance and role of emotional intelligence and express feelings in the process of communication with others and the preparation of workshops to develop analytical thinking skills to understand and interpret events.Key Words: Alexithymia.  Socialization factors.
