The Twelver Shiites’ Position from The Holy Qur’an "Presentation and Criticism"

Abstract

This study deals with a very important matter, which is the position of the Shiites towards the Holy Qur’an by clarifying their position on the authenticity of the Qur’an and their position on saying that the Qur’an has been distorted and that the Qur’an has outward and inward aspects. To achieve its objectives, the study mixed both descriptive and critical approaches. The study was concluded by saying that the Twelver Shiites relied on some myths and matters that do not exist in reality in their understanding of the Qur’an. The study recommended dealing with caution with the Twelver Shiites, especially after the spread of satellite channels and social media, and that they jumble everything together in their lessons and books.
