The Satisfaction of the Jordan Phosphate Mines Company Workers with the Jordanian Social Security Corporation
Abstract
This study aims to identify the satisfaction of the Jordan Phosphate Mines Company Workers with the Social Security Corporation. The study applied the social survey approach. The study population consisted of all the Jordan Phosphate Mines Company Workers who subscribe in the Jordanian Social Security. A stratified random sample was selected in accordance with the variable of the occupation type. The questionnaire was used as a study tool that was distributed on a random sample of (151) workers at the Phosphate Mines Company.
The study found that there is a medium degree of satisfaction with the Jordanian Social Security Corporation with a mean of 3.29 and a standard deviation of 0.56.The highest degrees of satisfaction with the Jordanian Social Security Corporation was related to the factor of “Covering social risks” which was included in the item of "Having supporting parties for social security”, whereas the lowest satisfaction degree with the Jordanian Social Security Corporation was related to "The subscription factor” in terms of the desire to withdraw from the social security if there is a chance to do so.
