The Degree to Which Secondary School Teachers in Jahra Governorate Schools in the State of Kuwait Practice the Shura Method

Abstract

This study aimed to identify the degree to which secondary school teachers in Jahra Governorate schools in the State of Kuwait practice the shura method from the students' point of view. The study relied on the descriptive survey method. The researchers prepared a questionnaire to measure the degree of commitment of secondary school teachers in the schools of Jahra Governorate in the State of Kuwait to the shura method.  Where the study population consisted of (18000) male and female students, and the study sample consisted of (430) male and female students. The results of the study showed that the degree of teachers’ practice of the Shura method from the students’ point of view came at a (high) degree;  The results revealed that there were statistically significant differences in the degree to which teachers practiced the Shura method due to the variable (gender) and came in favor of (females), and there were no statistically significant differences in the variable (scientific level and grade level), and the researchers recommend that the Ministry of Education in the State of  Kuwait to strengthen the Shura method in the educational process and continue to practice it.
