The degree of effectiveness of in-service teacher training programs from the teachers ’point of view in Ajloun Governorate

Abstract

This study aimed to identify the degree of effectiveness of in-service teacher training programs from the teachers’ point of view in Ajloun Governorate. The descriptive survey method was used. The study sample consisted of (242) male and female teachers in Ajloun Governorate schools. The results of the study found that the degree of effectiveness of in-service teacher training programs in Ajloun Governorate from the teachers' point of view in general was medium, with an average of (3.10). The results also indicated that there were no statistically significant differences in the average estimates of the study sample members of the degree of effectiveness of the in-service teacher training programs due to the gender variable, the educational qualification variable at the level of the tool as a whole, and at the total level for all its fields except for the place and time of training and evaluation of training, and in favor of Class (higher than Bachelor's). And for the variable years of experience at the total level for all areas of the tool except for the planning of training programs, training methods and means and the tool as a whole and for the benefit of a category (less than 5 years). And for the training program variable at the level of all areas except for training methods and means, place and time of training, evaluation of training and the tool as a whole and for the benefit of the ERSP category.
