The relationship between vocational decision-making ability and psychological hardiness among students of vocational training centers in Irbid Governorate

Abstract

The present study aimed to investigate the relationship between the ability of career decision making and psychological hardiness among students of vocational training centers in Irbid Governorate. The sample consisted of (100) male and female trainees from the training centers ' students, and the career decision-making scale and the psychological hardiness scale were used. Pearson and Cronbach alpha correlation coefficients were used to extract the relationship between the study variables. The results found that there was a positive relationship with statistical significance, and that the students of the vocational training centers possessed the skill of career decision-making and psychological hardiness and a high level in both career decision-making ability and psychological hardiness. The researcher concludes that the positive relationship between the two variables helps in increasing motivation, serious search for information, development, growth, and increased self-confidence.
