The Social Responsibility of Faculty Members in The Universities of Irbid Governorate and Its Relationship to Their Job Performance from The Students' Point of View

Abstract

This study aimed to identify the social responsibility of faculty members in the universities of Irbid Governorate and its relationship to their job performance from the students' point of view, and the study adopted the relational descriptive approach, and the two researchers developed a questionnaire that included two axes: the first to measure the social responsibility of faculty members in the universities of the Irbid Governorate, and the second  To measure their job performance, where the study population consisted of (64450) male and female students, and the study sample consisted of (687) male and female students, who were chosen in the available method, and the results of the study showed that the degree of social responsibility among faculty members in the universities of Irbid Governorate from the students' point of view  It has a grade (high);  The results revealed that there are statistically significant differences in the scale of social responsibility due to the variable (university type), in favor of (private) universities, and the results showed that the degree of job performance of faculty members from the students' point of view was (high), and the presence of statistically significant differences  In the job performance measure attributed to the variable (university type), in favor of (private universities), and it showed a positive statistically significant relationship between the degree of social responsibility practice and the level of job performance, and the researchers recommend the necessity of holding awareness seminars for faculty members to enhance the practice of social responsibility and link that practice to job performance  They have.
