The level of the Approach Based on the knowledge Economy from the Perspective of Sports Education Teachers in the Schools of Ajloun

Abstract

The study aimed to identify the level of application of the developed physical education curriculum based on the knowledge economy, and whether the level of application differs according to gender and academic qualifications, and the study population consisted of (158) teachers, and the study sample consisted of (40) teachers of physical education from the Ajloun Education Directorate They were selected by the intentional method, and the descriptive approach was used, and a tool was used that consisted of (40) items distributed in the fields of (evaluation strategies, outcomes, life skills, knowledge economy, and information technology). The results of the study showed that the degree of application, as estimated by physical education teachers in the level of application of the developed curriculum of physical education based on the knowledge economy, came to a moderate degree in all fields, despite the variation in the application of some fields, and the reason for the slight variation between fields may be due to negative trends towards this curriculum. Developer. The results of the study also showed that there are no statistically significant differences at the level of significance (a≥0.05) in all fields due to the gender variable, meaning that male and female teachers apply the curriculum equally. As for the scientific qualification variable, the results indicated that there are statistically significant differences in the following areas (evaluation strategies, life skills, and information technology) due to the scientific qualification variable. The researchers recommend reconsidering the implementation mechanism of the improved physical education curriculum based on the knowledge economy.
